Considerations need to be made for the location and climate of the installation. Defrost cycles can be triggered by colder temperatures and areas with high humidity levels. It is the responsibility of the Installer to ensure adequate provision has been accounted for defrost cycles, considering the local climate conditions, geography of the installation and siting location. 12-15% drop in output during design conditions should be suitable for most parts of the UK
