This course is for all engineers who wish to learn more about VL and/or GW controls and is the first course in our selection of controls courses, this should be attended before any further controls courses and/or any in centre course.
It is suitable for both experienced engineers and those new to the industry as well as specifiers, surveyors and even end users.
This course is designed to give attendees the underpinning knowledge and theory of efficient control of appliances and heating systems whilst also covering VA/GW control system logic and terminology.

Overview
On-line: 2 Hours
This course is suitable for all engineers who wish to learn more about the Vaillant controls product range. It is
ideally suited to installers and engineers either new to Vaillant, or new to Vaillant controls and engineers already installing Vaillant products who wish to learn more about the range of controls available.
Suitable for domestic and commercial boilers as well as renewables.
This course is a pre-requisite for anyone wanting to progress further with our controls courses and who may wish to come into a centre on a practical course.
No installation, wiring or setup specifics covered – product range familiarity only (range, model names/numbers, F&B’s, system compatibility etc.)
Also suitable for surveyors, specifiers and non-engineers requiring this knowledge
Wiring
On-line: 2 Hours
This course is for engineers who wish to learn more about the installation and wiring of our controls (setup covered in Controls Part 4-Vaillant Controls Setup & Use.)
This course focusses on boiler controls as renewables are covered in separate courses.
This covers basic combi control wiring (eBUS and 3rd party) and covers basic system wiring (S and Y plans and S plan plus.)
Setup & Use
On-line: 2 Hours
This course is for those who wish to learn more about the setup of our controls and what settings and parameters are available.
This course focuses on boiler controls as renewables are covered in separate courses.
This course covers key specific settings and setup of our controls.
