Vaillant installers can offer heat pump finance with Hiber

At Vaillant, we’re always looking for ways to help you, our installers, to grow your businesses.

For example, we’re focused on helping you to diversify into low carbon heating technologies such as heat pumps, so you can ensure your business remains sustainable during the UK’s journey to net zero.

But the Lord Environment and Climate Change Committee’s recent enquiry of the Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS) together with our recent research with installers has identified that cost remains a key barrier for homeowners when considering a heat pump.

The BUS inquiry also revealed that the uptake of heat pump technology in UK homes has been slower than anticipated.

Add the current economic climate into the mix, and it’s clear that homeowners may need support in order to adopt low carbon technology so the UK can achieve the government’s target of 600,000 heat pump installs every year by 2028.

One way to make heat pumps more affordable is to offer payment options, so homeowners who are keen to go green, but may not have the cash to pay for low carbon heating technology upfront, can do so without stretching their budgets.

Now, our partnership with Hiber means you can offer your customers flexible financing† on Vaillant heat pump and boiler installations.

Installers who can log in to their Vaillant Advance loyalty scheme account and join one of Hiber’s Plus or Max plans to benefit from Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) accreditation – the only such accreditation for heat pumps on the market.

How does Hiber work?

Using Hiber is really simple. Its online portal lets you quickly send a quote to your customer, offer them flexible payment options, and book the installation once they’re approved for finance.

Once you’ve completed the job, Hiber will pay you within five working days, so you don’t have the hassle of chasing up payment from the customer.

If you’re a Vaillant Advance member, you can get FCA accreditation and training for your business when you purchase a Plus or Max subscription with Hiber. Finance arrangements cover the entire installation, including the heat pump, accessories and labour.

Plus, Advance members can get the subscription of their choice from the cash catalogue with their earned balance – and Mastertech installers can order a standard subscription free of charge.
