10-point plan

On 18th November 2020 The UK Prime Minister, Boris Johnson announced 10 steps towards a green industrial revolution. The announcement was a positive step in the right direction including a target to install 600,000 heat pumps every year by 2028 and setting the ambition for a hydrogen heated neighbourhood for 2023.

What are we doing about it

The 10-point plan has paved the way to a green industrial revolution to help decarbonise the UK. As a heating manufacturer we are aware that our boilers rely on natural gas and for over 10 years Vaillant has been investing in the development of a comprehensive range of heat pumps which we design and manufacture in-house. Alongside heat pumps we are now developing our boiler range to become hydrogen ready ranging from a 20% mix to full 100% hydrogen.
