By choosing to install a full system solution from Vaillant, you’re ensuring that your customers are getting maximum efficiency and effortless comfort from their heating system.
That’s why we caught up with Commercial Customer Graham Sim, owner of Specialized Signs and Wraps, to see why they chose to install a full Vaillant heating solution, including the aroTHERM plus air source heat pump, in their commercial premises.
Q, So Graham, what initially attracted you to Vaillant?
A, I’d seen a lot of good reviews on LinkedIn, so I reached out to my contractor for further information.

Q, What products have you installed within the latest project?
A, Heat pumps aren’t too common in commercial installations, but with the support of Vaillant’s team, we were able to install two aroTHERM plus 12kW units in a cascade with two uniSTOR cylinders and Vaillant controls to support the heating and hot water demand for the property. We also installed 40 solar PV panels, low energy usage LED lighting throughout, along with water attenuation and rain water harvesting.

Q, Why did you decide to install a full heating solution from Vaillant in your commercial premises? Was this driven by the installer?
A, We’ve built a brand-new premises with high levels of insulation in the walls and roof so Vaillant’s product range was a great solution that ticked all of the boxes, especially as we are also installing a solar PV system, too.

Q, What has been your favourite thing about working with Vaillant on this project?
A, Vaillant have been great to work with throughout this project and we are extremely happy with the full heating solution provided by Vaillant! We’d 100% recommend these products and services to other business owners looking for low carbon alternatives.

Q, Have you seen a benefit since having these products installed?
A, As it’s a new build and we only moved into it in April, it is still a little too early to tell as we’ve not used the heating.
"Vaillant have been great to work with throughout this project and we are extremely happy with the full heating solution provided by Vaillant!"

Q, What support did you receive from Vaillant during the installation and post-install?
A, Vaillant spec’d and designed the full system, from start to finish. Both the Commercial sales and System Sales and Design teams provided great support to our contractors on-site and throughout the installation.

Q, Did you receive any funding to support the installation?
A, Due to the design and build of this project, we were able to receive a grant and interest-free load from Business Energy Scotland. The funding supported the ASHP system.
