Vaillant Volunteering Tees Off

A team of four Vaillant employees is taking to the greens on the longest day of the year to raise money for MacMillan Cancer Support. Alastair Goadby, Gareth Ropinski, Nick Wathall and Alastair Waters will be teeing off at 4am on Friday June 21st to squeeze in four rounds of golf before night falls that evening.

Nick has a handicap of 17, Alastair is a 24 handicap golfer and both Gareth and Alastair W have handicaps of 28, so between them they should average around 400 shots per game. So it will be quite an achievement to play four games in one day!

MacMillan Cancer Support is a national charity that provides support for cancer patients and their families. Their work includes the provision of support groups and palliative care by MacMillan nurses, as well as research and reporting into the diagnosis and treatment of cancers.
