Vaillant and Heat Geek partner to empower independent installers to drive heat pump uptake

Aadil Qureshi, CEO of Heat Geek and Mark Wilkins, Training and Technologies Director at Vaillant.

On Tuesday 25th June, Vaillant were proud to announce the new strategic partnership with Heat Geek. Aiming to set the benchmark for heating system design and installation quality by empowering independent installers to lead the heating industry transition to low carbon technology.

Heat Geek is the leading community of independent heating engineers working in renewable technology. With training courses to assist Gas engineers to transition to Heat Pump work, as well as tools and technologies to enable those engineers to grow their business as they put their new skills to work; Heat Geek is built to enable independent engineers to deliver the best Heat Pump installations in the market.

Vaillant has worked with Heat Geek for many years with hundreds of Vaillant manufactured devices at the heart of highly efficient, warm homes for customers across the country. The Heat Geek platform works with Vaillant technologies in the heat pump to monitor every heat pump they install. Using data from these monitored installs, Heat Geek installations are running at an average SCOP of 440%, far exceeding the national average and BUS minimum of 280%. These efficiencies reflect the high level of skills of the Heat Geek installer network and the capabilities and efficiencies of the equipment.

We’re now deepening our partnership to bring better benefits to more installers and their homeowners across the country.

  • Bespoke access to Vaillant hardware - Through the partnership, independent Heat Geek installers will get bespoke access to Vaillant heat pumps through the Heat Geek installations platform.
  • Continuous product and system design feedback - Heat Geek will work with Vaillant’s Product and Service teams to feedback front-line experiences from installers in the network and help prioritise solutions.
  • High quality training - Heat Geek installers will now be able to access Vaillant product specific training as part of the Heat Geek Learn product. Vaillant trainees will have discounted access to the Heat Geek Learn product.
  • Access to rewards and support - All Heat Geek installers will benefit from the Vaillant Advance programme of rewards, including when Heat Geek supply the equipment.1

Aadil Qureshi, CEO of Heat Geek said “We empower installers with training and tools to grow their businesses and help homeowners to upgrade their homes, saving money and carbon. We’re delighted to partner with Vaillant due to their industry heritage and product expertise. At Heat Geek, we pride ourselves in putting the best equipment in the hands of top heating engineers to save homeowners money and give heat pumps the backing they deserve.”

Henrik Hansen, Managing Director at Vaillant UK & Ireland says “This new partnership will not only enhance the support for installers across the country, it will help to deliver the best efficiencies for homeowners looking to decarbonise their home heating. By combining our product and support expertise with Heat Geek’s software and growing installer network, our partnership will focus on delivering high quality heat pump installations, making the transition to heat pumps smooth and simple.
